1. Scope

This policy covers:

• The Billable App (macOS and upcoming Windows versions) and
• The Website and Account Portal (blbl.work).

It distinguishes between:

• Local App Data — information stored privately on your device; and
• Account & Billing Data — limited information handled online for license management, subscriptions, and support.

2. Information We Collect

A. From the App (stored locally only)

• Tasks, projects, clients, time entries, notes, and backups
• Preferences and theme settings
• No usage analytics, telemetry, or remote uploads

We never receive this data unless you explicitly share a backup or log with us for support.

B. From the Website and Account Portal

When you create an account or purchase a license, we collect:

• Name (optional)
• Email address (required for activation and billing communication)
• Encrypted login credentials
• License and device activation details (ID, timestamps, plan type)
• Payment and billing info (processed by Lemon Squeezy; we never see full card data)
• Basic site analytics (page views, referrer, country — no personal tracking)

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Activate and validate licenses online
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Communicate updates, renewals, and support responses
• Maintain security and prevent fraud
• Improve the App and Website experience

We do not sell, rent, or share data for advertising purposes.

4. Payments via Lemon Squeezy

All transactions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They collect and store your payment details, tax information, and billing address to complete the purchase. We receive only non-sensitive data such as email, country, and license type.

5. Account & License Management

Your account lets you view licenses, transfer devices, and manage subscriptions. Stored data includes your email, license IDs, activation records, and timestamps. You can update or delete your account anytime by contacting ajith@yesss.design. Deleting your account does not erase local App data on your computer.

6. Local Data Storage & Security

All App data is kept in a secure SQLite database on your device. Automatic backups run locally and never leave your computer unless you manually export them. We cannot access or recover your local data remotely. You are responsible for safeguarding your backups and device security.

7. Data Retention

• Account and billing records are retained for as long as required for legal and tax purposes.
• Support emails are kept only while relevant to the conversation.
• Local App data remains fully under your control and can be deleted by uninstalling the App and removing its data folder.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access or correct your account data
• Request deletion of your online account and license records
• Export billing and activation history on request

9. Cookies & Analytics

We use only essential cookies for login and session management. If analytics are enabled, they are privacy-friendly tools (such as Plausible or Fathom) that collect aggregate, non-identifiable usage data. No tracking pixels or third-party ads are used.

10. Security Measures

• All Website traffic uses HTTPS encryption.
• Passwords and tokens are stored securely using industry standards.
• Administrative access is restricted and logged.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure; you should also protect your own devices and accounts.

11. Third-Party Links

The Website may link to external resources (e.g., payment pages, documentation, social media). We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those sites.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always appear at blbl.work/privacy with a new effective date. If changes are material, we'll notify you via email or in-app message. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
