Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "App" means the Billable desktop software for macOS (and future Windows version).
• "Website" means blbl.work and related pages.
• "We," "Us," "Our" means Yesss Design.
• "You," "Your" means the individual or entity using the App.
• "Subscription" refers to a recurring monthly or yearly plan.
• "Lifetime License" means a one-time purchase granting perpetual use.
• "Account" means your user login at blbl.work to manage licenses, devices, and subscriptions.
• "Payment Provider" refers to Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record handling transactions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Billable. By using the App or Website, you represent that you meet these conditions.

3. Accounts & Activation

You may need to create a Billable Account to manage licenses, activate devices, and view billing details.

• Internet connection is required for activation and periodic license checks.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• Do not share your account or license keys with others.

4. License Grant & Restrictions

When you purchase a plan, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable (except for device transfers), revocable license to use the App for personal or business use.

• One license = one active device seat (you can deactivate and transfer via your account).
• You may not reverse engineer, modify, resell, or redistribute the App or license keys.
• You may not use the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe on others' rights.

5. Plans & Pricing

Billable offers:

• Monthly and Yearly Subscriptions – recurring plans until cancelled.
• Lifetime License – one-time purchase including all future updates.

Prices are displayed before checkout. Taxes, if applicable, are handled by our Payment Provider. We may update pricing or features at any time, but changes will not affect active paid periods or existing lifetime owners.

6. Purchases, Billing & Refunds

All payments and renewals are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy.

• Subscriptions: Renew automatically unless cancelled from your account before the renewal date.
• Cancellations: Remain active until the current billing period ends.
• Refunds: We offer a 14-day refund on your first purchase. To request one, email ajith@yesss.design with your order details.
• Failed payments or chargebacks may temporarily suspend your license.

7. Device Transfers & License Management

Each license activates one device. You can log in to blbl.work/account to deactivate a device and activate a new one. If you encounter transfer limits or issues, contact support@blbl.work.

8. Updates

All users receive feature and security updates automatically. Lifetime license holders are entitled to all future updates at no additional cost. We may add, modify, or retire features as needed to improve the product.

9. Data & Privacy

• The App stores all work data — tasks, clients, timers, backups — locally on your device.
• We do not upload or access this data.
• The Website may collect limited information such as your email, license status, and payment details processed by Lemon Squeezy.

You are responsible for backing up and restoring your local data using the built-in tools.

10. Third-Party Services

Billable integrates with:

• Lemon Squeezy – for payment processing and subscription management.
• Standard web analytics tools (if enabled) on our site.

These services operate under their own privacy and legal terms. We don't control or take responsibility for them.

We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe but do not guarantee specific response times or outcomes.

12. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in Billable, including trademarks, logos, and content, remain the property of Yesss Design. You receive a license to use the App; it is not sold to you. You may provide feedback voluntarily — we may use it to improve the product without obligation or attribution.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share or resell your license key or account.
• Interfere with activation or billing systems.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App.
• Use the App or Website to engage in illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

14. Warranties & Disclaimers

Billable is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or accuracy. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits).
• Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the previous 12 months.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Yesss Design harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

17. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Breach these Terms, share licenses, or abuse the system; or
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately (except for any valid lifetime rights, unless terminated for breach).

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on blbl.work/terms. We'll notify users of material changes via email or within the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Kerala, India (venue: Thrissur).
